you probably have a correct file there, specially this happens with empty files, which most o fthe time will be 0 bytes.
check the unsent files for 0 byte oe empty files.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CF5 Mail Spool Problem

Hi,

I noticed this morning that our mail spool directory had over 450 emails waiting, some of which were created last night. I restarted CF services but they still didn't start sending. So I stopped the service, moved all the files out of spool into a temporary directory, then started the service again. This seemed to fix the problem in as much as new cfmails were being sent out.

However, when I tried to copy 10 or so emails from the temporary directory back into the Spool directory, the whole thing seemed to come to a halt again, and even new ones were not leaving the spool directory. To get it working again I had to move the emails back to the temporary directory and restart the service. I tried this a few times, and managed to send a few of the old mails out, but after failing and restarting the CF service 3 or 4 times, I had to stop.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any ideas on how I can get these emails sent out?

Using CF5 on Win 2k.

Any help appreciated.

Andy Hall.
