setup a schedule to restart it via a batch file, much easier.

Hey Snake,

restarted the MX ODBC Agent... seems to do the job fine.... I'll have to use the ihtk to restart the ODBC Agent via CFX...

thanks... been itching 'bout this one for ages!!

I don't think that would help.
Does a restart of the ODBC service fix it ?

I have had this b4, somehow the DSN was being cached, so it only remembered all the tables that were in the database last time it was being used.
Try unchecking "maintain database connections".

This happens for me also. I have to restart SQL and CF for it to recognise it. I have a vanilla install on my machine.

Subject: [ cf-dev ] Unrecognized Fields

I am developing a site in CFMX with SQL 2000.

Everytime I add a field to ONE table and I run a query against it, CFMX doesn't recognize the new field.
Other tables in the same db are fine.

To solve I have to restart cfmx service.

Any ideas?
