Has anyone written an ISAPI filter to remove the offending meta tag?

Subject: [ cf-dev ] CF META Tag messes up my xhtml

Hi,

I've been trying to figure out why my html page looks different when I
convert it to a ColdFusion page. The code is identical but the page
renders differently, and I've eventually figured out that the CFMX6.1
dev server meta tag:

<META NAME="ColdFusionMXEdition" CONTENT="ColdFusion DevNet Edition -
Not for Production Use.">

which is inserted at the top of all cfm pages prevents the doctype tag:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"

from working, so pages aren't rendered as strict xhtml. Has anyone else
had problems with this, and are there any work arounds so that what I
see on my development server is identical to what I see on the live
server?

Cheers, Douglas
