well you can use style={yourStyles:abc;} but this is not supported cross
browser i.e. not Firefox, Netscrape etc..

Don't you want a class then that is different from the default i.e.:
<a href="abc" class="className">Follow this link</a>
Then in your stylesheet something like:
a.className{
yourStyles: xyz;
}
...and make sure it comes after your default style.
