Developers,
We would like to inform you about the progress we are making with the
HoGent-team concerning the migration between Dokeos 1.8.5 (our current
e-learning platform) and Chamilo 2.0 (testplatform launched mid februari
2011).
We succeeded in migrating:
- 30.000 users
- 6500 courses (containing 182 gigabyte data)
from our current Dokeos 1.8.5 platform to our testplatform. This returns
around 485.000 content objects and 650.000 course publications.
At the moment we are checking all course data integrity and fixing some
migration bugs/problems. This progress can be followed on
http://support.chamilo.org/projects/chamilo-20/issues.
Don't hesitate to ask questions or sharing remarks if you are interested
in joining our migration efforts.
