As a side note, it is very likely that we will implement jQuery File Upload in Chamilo 1.8.8 as it represents minor integration efforts and... it provides multiple files upload*and* DRAG& DROP file upload (webdav style without webdav). This is a tremendous usability improvement for a lot of people, so I think 2.0 team might have a look at it (it's as simple as including the lib and giving the right ID to your<input type="file"> element in your form, and having the right secure PHP script behind, of course).
