A screenshot of the bug, with the panel transparent, so part of the window is
seen behind it.

Some windows that should open maximized don't, but instead, they appear the
size of the screen + window decoration (right edge appears of the screen and
bottom edge appears behind the panel).
It does not happen with all windows/applications. (With some always, with some
never)
It does not happen when using just compiz.
It only happens with 1280x1024 resolution.

Steps to reproduce:
Don't know exactly what applications do that (happens often, but I don't
remember them), but know one way to test it.
0. Run compiz fusion, set 1280x1024 resolution
1. Run Firefox
2. Go to kde-look.org/gnome-look.org or similar
3. Go to a content page
4. Click on a preview image to open it in a new window
