Namely, the desktop cube plugin previously allowed you to have a separate wall
paper for each side of each cube in a multi output setup with multiple cubes
(ie. twinview, xrandr, etc). If you only put in one image, it would scale that
image to each separate cube face. With wallpaper, it takes each image you
specify and either tiles it across the face of both cubes, scales it across
both cubes, or centers it between the two cubes. This is a significant
regression, and is definitely not what a user would expect.
