I have a laptop with a radeon 9000.
CompizFusion worked well on Ubuntu 7.10.
After the upgrade to Ubuntu 8.4 the compiz script didn't let run compiz.real
because:
"#don't run on laptops using ati driver"
But it seems to be too general, I have commented out that check but let run any
other and there was no problem detected by the script.
Since them I can use CompizFusion again at my laptop without any problem.
