There is a forum thread on how to script compiz, properly, considering
there is some interest it should be revived.

It doesn't compile though, but it is just a matter of an ABI update.

This is a good plugin to have, just the animation system was rather
screwed up. I would think that if we can rework animation to have
other plugins use it, we can adapt it for that.

I have a patch to make this work with master, however I can't get the
videos it produces to play. They are in some weird undocumented
format. Can someone explain it?

Another thing too is FakeARGB. I believe it is superseeded by
greenscreen and colorfilter. Kristian Erikson is maintaining the
former, can he explain to use how it works?
