Hi Owen,
You can customize the HD kernel command line. In the target area, you
can set the kernel command line "kernel cmdline" option. MIC will create
the gurb config based on the kernel command line set while creating
install image.

So is the real problem that the boot device should be /dev/sda2 instead
of /dev/hda1? I was facing a similar boot problem when I tried "Install
USB" with the MIC (approximately a month back).
