I snagged freely as a first attempt. The problem is that the libcurl
package that is used in the Moblin development environment is not
compatible with the libcurl package that's used in the Midinux
environment. I should have mentioned that. Sorry.
On the plus side, I now understand why (or at least think I do).
Curl has to be compiled EITHER with ssl OR with gnutls. You can't
have both. Moblin's packages (as well as Maemo's) are compiled with
gnutls. Midinux's appear to be compiled with ssl.
Sooooo... It looks like I just have to create a fring-specific
package and have our curl libs stuck into /usr/local/fring/ for safe
keeping.
