Dear all moblin builders

Recently I am exploring the possibility of downgrade/upgrade kernel
on a menlow-lpia-moblin2 platform.

I tried kernel-mid-2.6.24 on a targer root-fs of menlow-lpia-moblin2.
It did be compiled and binrpm-pkg can be generated! I installed them
without problems. Unfortunately, it did not give initrd.img, thus I
created it manually via mkinitrd.

As we can imagine, MIC's helping Python InstallImage.py and/or Mkinitrd.py
should help us to do right thing when creating Live USB or some other type
of images. However, it never is done quite good. The initrd image on DD's USB
is missing.

After copying initrd.img from target root-fs into USB flash disk, it still
cannot be
booted. There must be something we should know to configure kernel or
guide InstallImage.py and Mkinitrd.py to set up correct USB Live image booting.
(Yes, my own kernel-mid cannot recognize USB flash, or SSD or IDE hard disk
attached on a IDE bus/cable. too. Sigh~)

If you have any tiny hints or clues to show me, please let me know.
I do appreciate on this very deeply. After I achieve this, then I could use
JTAG debugger to trace kernel booting and running.

Thanks in advance.
