Hi, I see that after my openstack installation (all in one node, version 1.20-63) I have "snat-xxx" network created which I guess is part of installation. Now If I use this network id to create an instance the instance comes up fine and I am able to ping the ip address of the vm from the host.
Now when I try to go ahead and create a new network following the openstack instructions, http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/install-guide/install/apt/content/neutron-initial-networks.html I don't seem be able to verify the network connectivity, cannot ping the router gateway. I see when I do a arp dump for the new ip addresses the arp is incomplete on vhost0. I also see the tapxx is showing up in the vif --list. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks Chaitanya
