Hi Harshad,

please can you give me advice how to provide active - backup configuration for
two service instances of vSRX, because all documentation explain only one node
scenario like this
http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/vsrx15.1x49/topics/task/multi-task/security-vsrx-contrail-service-chain-configuring.html

I am not sure where in Contrail I can configure this. Network policy provide
only routing policy between two VN.

Thanks,

Jakub

You can configure allowed address pair assuming Service is running VRRP.

You can also do the same if the instance ip has mode set to active backup.

Or you can do it using external software using local pref. look at SNAT or
LBaaS code.

Hi all,

does anybody know, how you can disable balancing between scaled service
instances? or how to configure any kind of health check? It seems that it
checks only whether VM is running. If yes, the traffic goes there. I put
interface down on one of service instance and it still balanced to both.

Thanks,

Jakub
