Are you still able to ping when the agent is not running?
I'm able to ping when the contrail-vrouter-agent is not running.
Did you try using “dropstats" to see if there are any drops inside vrouter?
Not having the dropstats command on powerpc ubuntu.
Are you seeing any checksum errors go up on the receiver of the ping (using
netstat)?
