Hi Ganesha,

Thanks for the response,

I'm using contrail 2.20, I have cross compiled these stuffs for PowerPC.

The order of service instance which I used is firewall, analyser and NAT functionality.

Is this a correct way or do I need to follow some any specific order ?? If so let me know please.

Thanks,

HI Vigneshwaran,

Which is the release/build you are using?

What is the order of the service-instances in the chain?

Can you provide me access to your setup?

Thanks & Regards,
Ganesha HV.

Subject: [opencontrail-dev] Issue in adding policy to the networks

Hi all,

I want to perform service chaining functionality between a tenant network and public network. I have launched all necessary VMs and service VMs.

I have created a policy to allow all traffic from tenant-A to tenant-B through service VMs.

Rule : Allow ANY LeftNetwork -> svc1 -> svc2 -> svc3 -> RightNetwork

I have applied the above rule to the tenant networks. With this rule Im able to ping Right Network from Left Network. But the traffic is not going through svc-2. The flow is from LN -> svc1 -> svc3 -> RN.

Even when there is many service VMs in between, the traffic is only passing between svc1 and svc3.

Why the traffic is not flowing through svc2 and what is the solution for to resolve it ??

Also, when I do filtering by mentioning only TCP or UDP or ICMP, it will always transfer all the packets without performing any filtering. I need reason for this too..

Kindly Help me in this.

Thanks,
