Hello,
ad. building Opencontrail, you can check this repository:
https://github.com/Mirantis/contrail-pipeline
and use Makefile to build on your workstation or Jenkinsfile to build on
Jenkins.
As it utilizes Docker, builds are pretty reliable.
Do I get correctly that github.com/Mirantis/contrail-something repos are
just mirrors of Juniper repos? Do you sync them periodically (how
often?), or what's the workflow?
Thanks,
Valentine

Hi Dennis,
today we merged support for Juniper Contrail packages as well

Hi Jakub,
thanks! That's wonderful news.
Is there an up-to-date description of your build system, and/or do you
have source packages as well?
I second this.
Building OpenContrail following the official manual is a pain. Aside
already-mentioned SSL error (hint: you need librdkafka-0.9.0, not 0.9.4),
third_party/fetch_packages.py fails randomly, so you need to re-run it, and
ceilometer plugin is unbuildable.
Having some source tree one can modify and rebuild easily would be hugely
beneficial. I even start to wonder if official sources were meant to be
build and deployed (even if with no support), not only read and understood?
Does anyone here run a self-built OpenContrail?
Best,
Valentine
I would like to be able to reproduce the builds, which may be useful for
testing bug fixes and such.
Cheers,
Dennis
