We're definitely interested in something like this. We need to review your proposal and study it, but in short either that or something very similar to that will be very probably assigned for next release. We're going to leave this on hold until 4.10 is out (we don't have enough time to address this for 4.10), but in a few weeks time we'll give you some feedback on this.
