Actually, I was running the command from the wrong directory : 
/openshift.local.config/master/ instead of /etc/origin/master.
It now works.

That means that your kubeconfig file (admin.kubeconfig) doesn't match your API 
server.  Any chance you've modified that kubeconfig file?  Find the original 
that openshift generated and re-copy it from the original location.
