Hi folks. I work on the openstack provider (shiftstack) issue [0] to ensure the cluster state, like etcd storage, certificates (what else?), to survive an instance (w/o shared storage volumes used) re-create/migrate actions. I believe this may be the case for other cloud providers as well, given there is no shared storage for VMs hosting the openshift cluster.
So could you folks please share how had you solved that problem for AWS, GCE, Azure?.. Are there is a cluster backup/restore ansible playbooks? Or do just reference architectures *not* support openshift deployments w/o a shared storage, like Ceph et al? That solves the problem as well :) [0] https://github.com/openshift/openshift-ansible-contrib/issues/533 -- Best regards, Bogdan Dobrelya, Irc #bogdando _______________________________________________ dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openshift.redhat.com/openshiftmm/listinfo/dev
