I upgraded Proton. It was supposed to be simple. It wasn't.
Rough timeline ( timezone: EST (UTC-05) ):
- 23:00:00-ish Both labs and the mailing lists went down, but I only
realize that labs is down.
- 00:00:00-ish I get labs back up.
- 00:55:30 Proton goes down for reboot.
- 00:57:45 Proton is back up.
- 01:00:00-ish I realize that the mailing lists went down.
- 03:35:00-ish I get the mailing lists back up.
So,
- labs.parabola.nu was down for about 1 hour.
- lists.parabola.nu was down for about 4.5 hours.
- Everything on proton was down for about 3 minutes (parabola.nu,
labs.parabola.nu, lists.parabola.nu, redirector.parabola.nu, and
www.parabola.nu).
Also, parabolaweb-reporead-inotify.service was restarted at around
21:00 GMT (UTC 0) today (2017-02-02).
