you should set GPGKEY in /etc/makepkg.conf to the key you want to use
for signing packages. in your case that would probably be

  #-- Specify a key to use for package signing
  GPGKEY="4ED34596"

while you're at it, make sure that PACKAGER is set correctly.

I get these too since a recent update. they seem harmless enough. might
be gpg is looking for a smartcard device that doesn't exist.

I get these too, I've been told (by Megver, iirc) that they are
harmless. At least they don't abort the release process. still annoying
though.
