Sorry, I wasn't specific enough on that point: no, gdm stopped working in my case too, so I had to switch to lightdm for gdm just showed the pointer. For the time being, here's what I did: - keeping nonprism/gnome-settings-daemon, "pacman -Syu geoclue2", which just took out 'your-privacy' without touching any of the already installed nonprism packages. Et voila, everything worked perfectly, gdm included! - then reverted to the previous state with "pacman -Syu your-privacy", which of course took out geoclue2, and broke either gdm and gnome. This little expermiment leads me to the conclusion that, as you said, the latest nonprism/gnome-settings-daemon is fine. There must be some other culprit lying somewhere in need to be nonprismed. What do you think?
