If you don't use `sudo`, yes.
$ man conf.sh
CONF.SH(3) libretools Manual CONF.SH(3)

LIBREUSER
If $SUDO_USER is set, then $LIBREUSER is set to that.
Otherwise, $LIBREUSER is set to the value of $USER.
