Do we have any clue yet on why the mainline kernel doesn't boot?

The easiest way to get a clue would be to disassemble a C201 and hook up
a "servo" to it. The "servo" is a board that can give you access to the
serial port. Paul Kocialkowski knows more about how to get such "servo"
board.
