those are some very interesting numbers - unfortunately, i think what that really demonstrates more than anything is that there is a lot of cruft in the pool - the true stats need to be against the repo.db files, like my script does
i suspect that most of the orphaned packages (the ones actually registered in the DBs) are not actually used by anyone - anything not in any DB o/c should simple be deleted - WRT each valid package, i would use the bug tracker as the metric - most of those keys have been expired for years; and it is likely that most of the packages signed by them are broken today - so if there is no open ticket about some package, which was packaged by any of those people, i would prefer to delete the package, in orfder to clean up PCR, rather than maintain stuff that no one uses _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.parabola.nu/mailman/listinfo/dev
