mailman wasn't on the DAEMONS array so when the server was rebooted it never came up, though monitd should've been taking care of it...
now that i see it, it was missing the condition that makes it restart the daemon. i also disabled pbot-ng, until xylon gets to make it inform labs changes. btw, labs is using a lot of ram on the server...
