In my timezone, it is now daylight savings time, so if my settings are my real timezone, the time is wrong. That isn't a big deal, as I can just swap with a different one twice a year. To make it easier to choose the right timezone (the first time, or when DST happens), could you show the current time next to the timezone field. That way, once it matches your real time, you know you've chosen the right timezone. If this is already done in cvs, I'm sorry for wasting your time.
