yes, i integrated roundcube into another application so that users could
login to our larger app and check their email without logging in again.
i sent in a patch at the time (can't remember whether that was just to
the mailing list of if i also submitted it to roundcube's sourceforge
page), but it wasn't integrated into roundcube proper.
anyway, that was quite a long time ago and i'm sure it wouldn't apply
cleanly to the current roundcube code.
i'm happy to help you get this working though - i'll dig up the old
patch and we can have a look at modifying it so it will apply to the
current svn.
