Thunderbird 2.0 uses tags and other new things:

Mail.app 2.0 will manage todo list and notes in IMAP, i guess.

The trouble of adressbook syncing, that's there is no standard to
implements.
Syncml (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SyncML) looks better for mobile
phone than for webmail.
