Roundcube Mail only works with IMAP.
For some others mail account (imap I think) I log in and then see a
lonely folder : inbox with no trash, no send no junk & co.

The problem is probably - you picked up the email from your IMAP
account through POP. Which means you downloaded all them and did not
leave them on the server. If you want to use IMAP, you have to
configure IMAP in your MUA as well. If that works, you can use
Roundcube with it as well and it will work as expected.
You might also want to post to [EMAIL PROTECTED] since this
list is reserved to development - at least somewhat.
