This is for attachments which are uploaded by the user when composing a new
message.

Attachments of mail messages which are read from the IMAP server and
displayed to the user are not stored on the Roundcube host but just piped
through to the user's browser.
If you need access to these,
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Plugin_Hooks#message_load is what you're
looking for. Check out the vcard_attachments plugin which is bundled with
the Roundcube sources to see how attachments can be accessed.
