Understood - except that you wouldn't have to do analyze the structure of EACH message - just of those multipart/* (or even multipart/alternative only) messages, right? May I ask with regards to "too expensive": How many milliseconds approx. are we talking about? This is a serious question. I would very much prefer to have this fixed, as I'm often "scanning" the list of messages with my eyes, explicitely looking for messages with attachments.
