Hello Clément,

So, as far as i understand, images_md5.txt is updated when the doc is built.
As a consequence, there is no need to update it//by hand after changing
images in xml files, provided that -- as you indicated it -- all images are the same in all languages or alternately localized="true" is set in the customized
<image> tags.
And there is no need to commit it with changed xml.
Am i right?

Regards
Samuel

Hello Samuel, hello all,

`make doc` (or `xmltojar`) should update it. This file is used to have cache on
generated images.
Note that it is only valid if all languages are correct ; all the examples
across languages should
be the same. If they are different due to translated string, use
localized="true".

Before beta-2 I spend some time fixing the documentation build due to some
issues with examples. I
guess we have to better take care of multiple languages.

Thanks for asking for clarification :),

Hello Scilab Team,

In order to ease completing contributions: When we add, remove or change an
image generated in an
help page, how then the registry SCI/modules/helptools/etc/images_md5.txt
should be updated?

Thanks
Samuel
