1. The 'test' component of the Snowdrift package was missing references to 'other-modules', which meant that sometimes tests would run without properly updating code. That was fixed in 874ea4b7763[^1].
2. The 'test' component *still* doesn't know it depends on other executable components in the package (like SnowdriftEmailDaemon). As far as I know, this is a limitation of Cabal-the-library. I've dealt with this by changing the documentation to recommend always running 'stack build' before 'stack test' in 4c654b0b03[^2].
