For reference, I brought up that the ydm idea, refactoring SDM out of our code is great, but we should recognize that sdm itself should probably be significantly updated. Whether that happens first or in conjunction, it wouldn't make sense to offer up a ydm of SDM as is. It should be only with the fixes.
