Hi Aaron, I was able to do some Google searching and came upon this issue (https://github.com/depressed-pho/HsOpenSSL/issues/41 <https://github.com/depressed-pho/HsOpenSSL/issues/41>) in the HsOpenSSL repo.
I was able to follow the directions from pmer and added the following to my stack.yml file: extra-include-dirs: - /usr/local/opt/openssl/include extra-lib-dirs: - /usr/local/opt/openssl/lib This all seems to me to be idiosyncratic to my setup, and I believe I can remove the changes to stack.yml file after make succeeds. - Steven P.S. make succeeded!! > On Jul 29, 2017, at 1:15 AM, Aaron Wolf <aa...@snowdrift.coop> wrote: > > On 07/28/2017 03:09 PM, Steven Leiva wrote: >> Hi Folks, >> >> I am trying to learn Haskell and looking for a community where I can >> “learn by doing” so to speak.
