Title: Samsung Enterprise Portal mySingle

Dear,

There is 3 gits for sdbd.

1. framework/system/sdbd

This is for the Tizen 2.x target.

2. sdk/target/sdbd

This is for the Tizen 3.x target.

We renamed "framework/system/sdbd" to "sdk/target/sdbd" for the Tizen 3.x. So we will maintain up-to-date changes to sdk/target/sdbd afterwards.

3. platform/core/system/sdbd

I'm not certain for this git.

I think this git is created by Intel side. SDK part does not care this git. We just maintain "framework/system/sdbd" for Tizen 2.x and "sdk/target/sdbd" for Tizen 3.x.

So I think it's better to deprecate this git.

If you have some changes of "platform/core/system/sdbd" to include in "sdk/target/sdbd", please post a review to "sdk/target/sdbd".

And we are planning to build "sdk/target/sdbd" as soon. We failed it by some build dependency like wrt.

Please check,

Thank you

Title : RE: [Dev] which sdbd should be used in Tizen image?

Dear Kangho Kim and MyungJoo Ham:

I wrote to you because you are the maintainer of “platform/core/system/sdbd” and “sdk/target/sdbd” . If you are not, please help to forward this email to the right person.

Could you please help to answer my question about “sdbd”: do we need maintainer separate sdbd for sdk and for device? If so, then “platform/core/system/sdbd” is for 3.0 device. And sdk/target/sdbd is for 3.0 sdk specially.  If not,  why sdk/target/sdbd requires debug-launchpad and default-files-tizen, which doesn’t exist in 3.0 repository?

Thanks

Junfeng

Sorry all

I misunderstand those git trees.

"framework/system/sdbd" is for Tizen 2.x

Samsung architecture team know that "sdk/target/sdbd" is right path for Tizen 3.0.

But Junfeng knows that "platform/core/system/sdbd" is for Tizen 3.0.

Junfeng

Could you check about this with Intel architecture team?

Thanks

Hi guys

platform/core/system/sdbd
sdk/target/sdbd
These two git trees are correct but they are built for each Tizen version.

"platform/core/system/sdbd" is for Tizen 3.0 (Tizen:xxx project in OBS)

"sdk/target/sdbd" is for Tizen 2.x (Tizen:2.x:xx project in OBS)

Hi List,

I found there are two sdbd projects

platform/core/system/sdbd
sdk/target/sdbd

Which one is the right one? I just found the sdk/target/sdbd is been
using at build.tizen.org. Is that correct?

Thanks,
