[Yan] Yes, you can test S3 in Landscape mode with full screen image, the issues 
are:
1) more user operations are involved;
2) if browsing through portrait/landscape images, you have to rotate your 
phones to adapt to landscape/portrait pictures;

 [Yan] if the device is in "screen casting" state, it should responds to 
auto-rotation event;
if the device is in "image casting" state, there is no need to respond to 
auto-rotation event actually, as images are always displayed in TV with 
original width/height.

btw, check Apple Airplay feature with Photo apps, you'll find the user 
experience difference. :-)
