I haven't worked with emulator image yet, but it seems to me that
emulator image has its own problems which will need to be resolved
separately. For example this error appears in builds of several packages
which I don't remember happening in RD-PQ packages:
file /usr/lib/pkgconfig from install of
simulator-opengl-devel-0.2.11-2.8.i686 conflicts with file from package
filesystem-3.1-3.5.i686
I've pushed a simple fix, as the issue here was obvious:

Other build failures will need to be investigated, but I'm quite busy at
the moment.
