Thanks for your mail.

I am the maintainer of https://bugs.tizen.org/jira .

I think the meanings of states and transitions can be easy to understand by
their names. For instance, “Assigned” means this issue has been assigned to
developer, and is waiting to the developer to handle; “Resolved” means this
issue has been addressed, and is ready for release engineer to integrate into a
build. Just as description here https://source.tizen.org/bug-life-cycle .

There are lots of different workflows, containing different states and
transitions, but the basic meanings for states and transitions are always the
same. And almost all of them can be got the meanings by their names directly.
If there are some confusions on this, please feel free to report a ticket,
selecting “JIRA” as the component/s, under “Tizen Infrastructure” project and
directly send me a mail.

I also checked the jira configurations, but didn’t find that jira can display
the description(tool tips) for status and transitions by clicking the “View
Workflow” link. Have you seen JIRA can display this tool tips in any other
places? If that, could you give me a link, I can do more investigations on it
to try to achieve this function on tizen.org jira.

Kindly Regards,

Chengjiang

Yes, I know this place but the graphs JIRA displays lack descriptions of states
and transitions.
