I have checked the installed image(tizen-ivi-20140519.12) and check all the
libraries which depend mesa, mesa-libEGL, mesa-libGLESv2, mesa-libglapi(built
from my branch mesa-10.1.3). And at last found the root cause.

I miss installing libgbm packages which is built out by mesa!!!!

Very sorry for my fault to bring much inconvenience to you.
I will do more testing to double check to make sure others works normally.
After that, I will upgrade mesa to latest version mesa-10.1.3.

By the way, I will cleanup the original mesa commit log because more commits
are cherried pick from mesa-10.x and more changes for x dependency. You will
see a clean commit list for mesa-10.1.3. It will be helpful for following
upgrade of mesa.

Keep tune.

Thanks for everyone’s help.
Special thanks to Eoff, Ullysses A and Philippe Coval ‘s great help.

Thanks

You really should recompile everything that depends on mesa… including Weston
and the Weston clients.
[Wang, Quanxian] seems I have to do that. Before that, I have rebuilt cario,
Weston(including weston-client), wayland, and the testing result is the same
as before.
As Philippe Coval described, still seems some key packages are missed.

Thanks for your reminder. I will do that.

Plus my steps

User: root

1) Set environment variable
export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:path=/run/user/5000/dbus/user_bus_socket
export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/5000

2) Building mesa-10.1.3 in develop machine

3) Install mesa-10.1.3

4) Kill current Weston and restart Weston with following command
             weston –tty=1 &

5) Run Weston-simple-egl. It will show black window in screen. If you
directly run it after 3), it works, but it should not do like that because
weston install old dri driver.

I have tried your branch on tizen common
image(tizen_20140519.13_common-qa-unsafe-wayland-mbr-i586). It still does not
work on ia32. I am trying x86_64 image.

The mesa uses your branch. Sandbox/pcoval/devel. I don’t find special commits
which affect mesa appearance.

Really curious. ☹. Upstream has verified it works with our option.

I have tried Weston 1.4.0, 1.4.92 and mesa 10.0.x, 10.1.2, 10.1.3, 9.2.1.
Only 9.2.1 works. For others not work.

Philips, could you provide me your built mesa packages ? I want to use your
mesa package to do testing.
And tell which image you use.

Thanks

Tell me if you need more help to build :
https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/gitweb?p=platform/upstream/mesa.git;a=log;h=refs/heads/sandbox/pcoval/devel

make sure to push git's upstream tags and drop latest change else it wont build

Hi,

Just curious why not using 10.1.3 I already tested it in Tizen:Common
[Wang, Quanxian] When I do testing, 10.1.3 is not released. Now I have tested
10.1.3 yesterday, it still has the same issue. By the way where is your
sandbox/pcoval/devel?
Where to clone your source code? From gerrit/git of tizen or other place?

The sandbox branch is located in platform/upstream/mesa. Clone Tizen mesa and
checkout the sandbox branch.
[Wang, Quanxian] find that. Thanks Mikko
