Today (2014.07.22) cynara version 0.1.0 was released and accepted to OBS
(common profile).
This is the first version based on own service and first that has
library for policy administration.
Main features of this release are:
* own cynara service - activated by systemd;
* two separate sockets: one for communication with clients, second with
administrators;
* libcynara-client - library with C synchronous API for checking privileges;
* libcynara-admin - library with C synchronous API for setting, updating
and removing policies;
(a word of comment here - this library will be used by
security-manager, that is ready to integrate with cynara and will be
released very soon. Instalators that want to set up some cynara policies
should use libsecurity-manager C API)
* in-memory database, serialized when policies change to text files.
Design and all information about version 0.1.0 will be published on
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Security:Cynara wiki page in 2 weeks
(hopefully sooner)
Our nearest goals are:
* creation of cache on client side (90% - of progress)
* design and implementation of asynchronous client API
