Yes, I enabled usb debug mode in gear2 and run sdb by root in Ubuntu.
Now it works.

Thank you all for your help!

Hi Hao,

Did you enable usb debug mode on the watch?

Thanks,
Ning

In my ubuntu, even if I connect the gear2 to PC via usb cable, sdb devices
can't detect the device...

i dont use windows... i also dont do html5 apps. i assume there might be - you
do have a usb cable, a little cradle thing for the watch and sdb works over it
(i rooted my gear2 so my sdb gives me root... i hadt o unpatch the silly
commenting out of sdb root cmd in sdb and rebuild it myself... god sdb's build
setup is a mess! that makefile is horrible!)

Hi
For image

is there any document like wiki page etc show how to burn and update package
or install package in Samsung Gear2 device?

go find an odin3.exe for windows (i know - shameful isn't it that you need
windows to flash linux based tizen devices), and power on and keep pressing the
power button multiple times quickly until you go into flasher mode... use
button to select download, then use odin as above plugged into usb and it'll
flash.

one of these days someone needs to reverse enigneer that new flasher protocol
and fix lthor to work. it's seriously painful as a developer. i can generate
images on linux only, then have to xfer to windows (and let's not get into how
normal corporate windows boxes are locked down to make this not possible).

Thanks!
