Hello,

unfortunately we are still waiting from our friends from Samsung to provide in the open an ARM 3.14 kernel with the graphic drivers for the Odroid3. If can help to make it happen quickly, we are as eager than you to run some tests.

1.Are there any graphic drivers for Odroid Common?

2.Are you testing on ARM too? I just wanted to run those out-of-the-box commands on Odroid U3, and they fail.

Hi Jan, José,

The current state is that you can do the following out-of-the-box in a Common X11 image :

1) run pure Xorg, without window manager : X (after that, in a virtual console, do : "DISPLAY=:1 xterm" to run a basic terminal)

 or

2) run Xorg along with Enlightenment : : enlightenment_start

I had work done in that sandbox to run enlightenment automatically at boot time :
https://review.tizen.org/git/?p=platform/upstream/xorg-launch-helper.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/sandbox/mbachmann/tizen

but maybe the "xorg-common" package would be a better place. Have paused that work right now.

Hi Jan,

The integration of X11 in common is achieved since a month for ARM and
INTEL. The built X images are working and enlightenment can be launched
(note that enlightenment 19 pushed this morning is very fresh).

I made some work for the integration but had no time to test or
configure. Manuel Bachman has much more knowledge on the state and has
in sandbox the implementation of the auto-start of enlightenment.

Best regards
