RESEND IT WITH AN UPDATED TOPIC

Hi, Dominique:

Some questions about WiNET multi-user requirements, thanks for your patience.

1. User A login and activates(turn on) WIFI, then connects to an AP A successfully.

         Then user B login:

1). Can user B disconnect the connection to AP A?

No. User B does not own the connection.

         2). Can user B deactivate(turn off) WiFi?

No. User B does not own the connection.

2. Since a user owns a wifi interface only if he has provided the credentials to connect it, and credentials given by UserA to connect to the access point should not be re-used by UserB to connect to this AP, therefore for a same WiFi AP:

If firstly userA login and input passphrase to connect it successfully, then userA disconnect it and logoff.

Then userB login and try to connect the same AP, userB must input passphrase to connect it, right?

Yes.

If yes, we don't think it make much sense after consulting ConnMan upstream, below is the confusion from Patrik, who is upstream ConnMan maintainer:

This because the Conmann team does not the the parallel work triggered by the security team (José has been given the task) to implement a Network interface containment using privileges.
Once the Containment is active, it will look far more logical.
