Hi Sami,

I just updated all the metas manually and set the MACHINE to "romley-ivb" and didn't get the error. I also updated all my metas using the script and it works fine too so can you test using it please (./yoctoTizenUpdateSource --rev-file yoctoTizen_rev_0.4) ?

Here is the commands I used to test:
bitbake -c cleanall -f -v linux-yocto
bitbake -c patch -f -v linux-yocto

If you still are having issues, you can also try to delete all files and directories in your build directory except the conf directory (in the case where your environment is corrupted) and try again.

Let me know if you still have the same issue.

Best regards,
Kevin

Hi Sami,

I don't know why the kernel fails to be patched but the
path"meta/patches/standard/base/links" seems wrong to me, it should be
"meta-tizen/meta-tizen-adaptation/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-yocto/".

Can you ensure that you are using the same version of poky, meta-tizen,
meta-openembedded and meta-intel as us
(https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Build_Tizen_with_Yocto#Using_scripts) ?

Also did you make any modifications ?

Best regards,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,

I followed the second part of the Wiki, I downloaded manually the
sources to build and set the environment configurations for the project,
and I didn't make modifications.

When I downloaded sources, I did the reset to the 'master/origin' git
branch for Poky, meta-intel, meta-openembedded and branch 'tizen' for
meta-tizen.

Should I use the scripts instead of doing it manually ?

Thanks,

Best regards,
Sami
