Hi,

As you might have notice there are pending review regarding gstreamer
alignment to version used in yocto project

This was done by our team since it belongs to a P1 related bug :

https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TC-1964

https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TC-2108

So the job was prepared and seems to work ok (even better in some cases),
but it is not yet submited to tizen, only shared for reviewing... note
they were negative feedback so we're supposed to merge it ...

Meanwhile. I got some feedback for one Multimedia maintainer Yan Yin
and he kindly suggested that to discuss of this upgrade since it could
affect other profiles (libmm etc), so here is this email to attract
your attention (you can also comment bug or review I'll read them too
)...

Now, We will also try to evaluate the consequence of this upgrade
by cooking a version of Tizen:Common (can be shared) and hunt for
regressions... Anyone is welcome to suggest how to check this the
safest way.

Note for convenience the main tizen branches have been rebased on new
upstream version, but since the upgrade is on hold , I plan to reset
them to previous accepted version to allow anyone to patch existing
version, and keep the upgrade in progress into a "latest" named
branch...

Waiting for general feedback and T:Common's downstream profiles
architects in particular.

Side note, I plan to submit libva and libav independently before gst
and its plugins set...

Regards
