Ross merged them with his changes for PACKAGECONFIG=bcond on the master
branch. However, I already noticed one regression (pkgconfig no longer
translates) which will have to wait until after my vacation.

It turned out that merely adding the meta-translator to a bblayer.conf
already has the effect of breaking (some) builds, so really only do that
in the config used for converting.

Also note that I have only tried "-c deploy_archives" for the packages
mentioned as "source = Yocto" in the spreadsheet
(https://docs.google.com/a/intel.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiN0rVNGA72PdDhDNjVyeThvX2dkMkFUSEhvNWZKR2c#gid=7).

If you find that it fails for other targets, then please check whether
the failing target really is meant to be converted. There are known
conversion failures for other targets.
